10 dried figs
½ cup slivered almonds
¼ cup honey
2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon almond extract
¼ cup sugar
1 Tablespoons orange zest
Remove stems from figs and add to blender or food processor with cocoa, cinnamon, and almonds. Mince into small bits.
Add honey, almond extract, and orange zest and mix until well blended.
Roll mixture into one inch balls.
Sprinkle sugar on wax paper and roll balls in the sugar to coat.
Store in tightly sealed container for 5-7 days.
