Couldn't let this day pass by without acknowledging the birthday of The Great Communicator, Ronald Reagan. A Democrat in the first half of his life and a Republican the second, President Reagan had a vision for seeing both sides of issues and the gift to bring both sides together.
Earlier today I was at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN, where the National Tea Party Convention is being held. Dems and Reps alike are present, as well as every conceivable news stations covering the events. Regardless of which side of the equation you claim, there is no denying the Tea Party Movement is getting people talking, getting people engaged, and calling people to action to participate in forming the future.
My prayer is for labels to disappear and for open communication so all can work together. Or in other words, it's time to Tear Down this Wall. America is the greatest nation on this planet. Let's continue to work together to keep it that way!
