Forgive me if today's post is rather light. First order of business this morning was to get myself to the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN, for the Blissdom Blogging Conference. We enjoy so many blessings in this part of the country and I consider the national blogging conference being hosted here one of them. I'm learning so much after the workshops on Thursday and looking forward to the classes today and tomorrow.
Networking with so many talented, creative, and successful bloggers is inspiring! My brain can not possibly hold everything, so I've taken good notes. And I'm happy to share!!!
Rumor has it, Harry Connick, Jr., will make an appearance later today and sing a song or two. Swoon!
Also at the hotel is the National Tea Party Movement conference spotlighting keynote speaker Sarah Palin. Love her or hate her, there is no denying she was a force to be reckoned with in the past election and continues to be a voice rallying Republicans today.
Today is also my birthday! I have no idea what surprises the good Lord has in store for me today, but I'm praying Mr. Connick will be one of them!!!!
