Celebration!

My brothers and I hope to take my parents on a little trip next month to help celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, but we couldn't let THE DAY go by without a little celebration here at home.

Andy fired up the grill.

And Beth pulled out the butcher knife.

I made the salad.

And others brought an assortment of goodies.

We custom ordered Jones Cola to add to the Celebration...

And just in case in case you were wondering what Beth did with that side of beef...

She trimmed off the skirt steak and slathered it with artichoke dip and cheese, rolled it up tightly, and tied it with string.

Andy grilled it along with the steaks she cut from the right side of the beef.

He let it rest so the juices could settle.

And then sliced it into pinwheels for our appetizer.

Yes, I said appetizer.

This was our entree...

We toasted the happy couple with Jones cola Blueberry Lemonade.

(... we also toasted the chef!)
